EVP I have previously recorded using EVPMaker.
I've have many good messages with EVPMAKER, but one session in particular is unusually good. This occured back in 2003. Normally at that time I was using a German News audiio file or a British news file as the "source sound." The software cuts up the speech into tiny pieces, called allophones, which the spirit can use to creat spoken words and phrases. Usually these EVP's (Electronic voice phenomena) were produced ABOVE the sound of the background audio, but in this one case something else happened.
My 13 year old son had died a few months previously. We were all devestated. One night, about 3 AM I couldn't sleep and came out to play around on the computer. I set up EVPMaker. I didn't bother with a microphone. I just recorded straight to my computer.
I was stunned by the results, and have yet to duplicate them. Remember I DID NOT HAVE A MICROPHONE ON. The spirits used the source sound only, to create recognizable speech specifically targeted toward me!
The first message was: Please think of us as normal people (click on link)
Also from this session: You must obtain treatment for your breaking heart, Amy
The fact that the spirit said my name convinced me completely that this EVP stuff wasn't a joke! I mean, come on now...What's the chance of that being a random thing?
I am convinced that these messages are from my loved ones on the other side.
There was more in that first session, but I'll keep that to myself.
At another session I got Ethan is listening
( my son's name is Ethan.) This is another form of EVPMaker communication. This is speech recorded OVER the chopped up background sound source. Listen for the higher man's voice. Again no microphone was used (I didn't OWN one!)
Here's an earlier EVP my son Justin and I caught when he was about 14 or 15. He took the recorder and placed it in a bathroom and left it there for some time. Later I got it out of the bathroom and loaded it into some sound editing software. This appears to be my son's late grandfather talking to him: (Must be opened with realplayer)
I Hope You Won't Forget Me.
EVPMaker has always been a wonderful piece of paranormal software. It is frustrating to use in that not all sessions will produce EVPs. It also take a lot of listening to an audio file over and over again to finally hear something. The results are rarely as stunning as my first session was - even when I use a microphone and speakjet allophones. It's very time consuming work, and the person you are trying to contact generally is not the person who will come through if anyone does at all.
For direct communication, the px is the best tool we have.
